Primary Coordinators Message
Welcome back to everyone!
A special welcome to all new students and also Mr Prentice who has joined our Primary team and will be teaching Year 5B and Mathematics with Year 5's and 6A.
We had the Year 3 and 4 students take part in the Urban Camp on the first week back and it was great to receive such positive feedback from students, teachers and parents.
Camp provides students with many opportunities including getting to learn about their surrounds and nature/city, meal preparation, orienteering, building fires, cooking, how to set up for a camp, learning more about activities (eg. fishing, hiking), and also how to get by without computer and TV screens.
Camps also provide students to be in a different and less busy environment, where the students learn to better understand each other's differences and therefore learn to better get along with each other.
This Term we will also have our Primary Concert which students have been busy preparing for in class, as well as many other in school activities and excursions.
